SRC 2011-2012 Club Match
This is intended to be a fun match to encourage SRC members to participate in a friendly shooting competition. This match will continue for four months starting in December 2011 and will be offered at no cost. It is only open to current shooting SRC members.
Course of Fire : 4 x 20-shot relays per month. The relays for each event are described below
Relays : Sporting Rifle: 2 x 10 bull Sporting Rifle targets (1 shot per bull) Match Rifle 2 x 10 bull Match Rifle targets (1 shot per bull) Air Rifle 4 x 5 bull Air Rifle targets (1 shot per bull) Air Pistol 4 x single bull Air Pistol targets (5 shots per bull)
Where : The targets must be shot either during an SRC club evening (see procedure below) or during a registered match such as the LSBA or Ontario Indoors.
Procedure : For targets to be shot during regular SRC evenings please inform the range officer that you will be shooting targets for the club match. The range officer will mark the targets accordingly before they are shot. After shooting the targets return them to the range officer. This is not a postal match so pre-shot targets will not be accepted and shot targets must be turned in the day they are shot.
If you are interested in using your scores from a registered match please inform a range officer or the match organizer.
Multiple Entries : If you wish to shoot in more than one event, that is fine. However you can’t mix events and you can only enter each event once (i.e., you can’t enter the Sporting Rifle event twice)
Prizes : Prizes for the match will be awarded at the Spring 2012 AGM for the SRC. There will be at least a first place award and others if there are sufficient participants. If there are 10 or more participants additional awards will be issued to celebrate their achievements using the Lewis system. So, more participation will bring more awards so come out and participate!
Result Publication : Results will be published on the SRC Web site as they are received by the match organizer. Typically the results will be shown with first name and last initial. If this is not desirable let the range officer or match organizer know.
