SRC Membership Application and RenewalPLEASE NOTE: While we are now accepting new members, we have a substantial wait list that, in all fairness, we must accept before accepting new applicants. If you are interested in joining the SRC, you should send an email to the SRC Membership Chairman asking to be added to the wait list (please include a phone number where we can reach you). The approximate wait time is about 15 to 18 months. If you just cannot wait that long, there are other ranges in the province - a complete list can be found on the CSSA’s listing of Clubs and Ranges. For the 2010/2011 season, SRC memberships will fall into 3 different types: Yellow Card – this is the basic membership for all SRC members and will cost $20 per year for both adults and juniors. This membership is a social or support membership, indicating your intention to continue to support the club during our quest for a permanent range. There are NO shooting privileges with this membership. To shoot on Wednesday evenings, you will need to upgrade to one of the following: White Card – this is similar to previous years, where members who do not have a firearms license, may use club equipment. This class of member cannot own or buy a firearm or ammunition. The annual fee for this membership is an additional $40, for a total membership fee of $60. Also, if you are not a member of the CSSA, an additional $20 will be charged for personal liability insurance. Blue Card – again, similar to last year, for those members who possess a valid firearms license, entitling them to purchase and use their own firearms and ammunition. The annual fee for this membership is also an additional $40, for a total membership fee of $60. However, you must join and maintain current membership in the CSSA ($45), which will provide personal liability insurance. The membership application (PDF) form below can be used for both new and renewing members. It can be filled out online, however, once completed it must be printed and either mailed (along with a cheque for your fees) to the membership chairman, or dropped off in person at the range on any Wednesday evening. Contact the SRC Membership Chairman for the mailing address if required. If you are applying for a yellow card, it will be mailed to you. If applying for blue or white card, please bring your completed application form to the range on any Wednesday evening, along with a cheque for the membership fees. If you have a Firearms license and/or CSSA membership, you must also bring them with you for verification by the SRC. New membership cards will be at the desk on Wednesday evenings; if not picked up within a reasonable time, it will be mailed to you. Additional application and change request forms are also available at the desk. However, it is preferred that you fill out the form(s) online and print them, so that there will be no problems deciphering your handwriting. Any changes to your personal information, CSSA or SFC membership, firearms license, or upgrades to your membership will require that you complete a change request.
