Je voudrais au nom du Secteur Carabine de la FQT, vous dire un gros merci à tous les participants de la coupe « Challenge Québec 2005 ». Également, je ne voudrais pas oublier l’apport des bénévoles et j’ai nommé; Lise Dumoulin, Valérie Dumoulin et son conjoint Frédéric Turcotte pour leur travail remarquable. J’ajouterais un merci très spécial de ma part à Eugène Morin pour sa contribution exceptionnelle comme officiel. Sans vous tous, il n’aura pas été possible d’obtenir la réussite de l’événement.

Comme vous le savez maintenant, cette compétition est du type interprovincial et par conséquent, les provinces ont une occasion de rivaliser entre elles pour remporter la coupe du challenge.

Cette année, c’est l’Ontario qui remporta la coupe avec un total de 122 points contre 108 points pour le Québec. La « Coupe » a été remise comme indiqué sur l’invitation, au tireur ou à la tireuse qui a le plus contribué à la collecte des points pour sa province gagnante. Félicitation à Cindy Luk avec ses 22 points et elle conservera le trophée jusqu’à l’année prochaine où le titre sera de nouveau en jeu.

Il reste maintenant qu’à vous souhaiter une bonne fin de saison et à l’année prochaine quelque part fin mai 2006 à Granby.

Quebec Challenge 2005

The Rifle comitee of the Quebec Shooting Federation would like to thank everyone who took part in the first edition of the Quebec Challenge. We would also like to sincerely thank the volunteers who did a wonderful job : Lise Dumoulin, Valérie Dumoulin and Frédéric Turcotte. Without them, this event could not have been such a a huge success. Finally, we would also like to thank Mr Eugène Morin who managed the firing line in a very professionnal way.

As you know, the Quebec Challenge is an inter-provincial match that was set up in order to maximize participation from shooters coming from outside Quebec. We are extremely pleased to announce that the first edition of this match was won by…ONTARIO !

This province accumulated 122 points while Quebec got 108 points. A trophy was also awarded to the shooter that accumulated the highest quantity of points for the winning province. We would like to offer our most sincere congratulations to this year’s winner: Mrs Cindy Luk who gathered 22 points for Ontario. She will keep the trophy until the Quebec Challenge’s next issue.

Once again, thank you very much and we hope to see you again in Granby, in May 2006.
