Fortunately we missed that last nasty gasp of winter by a week and had good weather throughout the Championships. We ended up with an excellent match, a very good turnout of shooters, and a lot of good scores were fired. Most noteworthy was the 600X55 Karen White fired in Sporting Rifle Prone - a new match record. In Silhouette - Standard Pete Sedman's 56 tied the record he set in1995 and matched in 2002. There were good scores in the other matches, but no other new match records. Match Champions for 2005 are:

Congratulations to all the winners; the trophies will be going out soon and you should all have them well before the end of May.

If this gets to you in time note the indoor match at Durham April 30; check with Josie Pascoe (905-728- 4470) for details and reservations. The outdoor season will start soon with the Polar Bear match at Peterborough - and the schedule for some other matches is shown below. Our outdoor Provincials are at Beachburg July 9 & 10 - I hope we'll get a good turnout there.
