This site is meant to be an interesting starting point for those interested in recreational and competitive rifle shooting in Ontario. Click on one of the buttons to the left or a link below to see more about a particular organization. The main organizations that you will find information on here are the Ontario Smallbore Federation, the Ontario Rifle Association and the Ontario Arms Collectors Association. Looking for Results ? Click [here] or on the button at the left. Check out Bill Szulga's inspirational words about target shooting in Canada. Though no longer a separate entity the Ontario Smallbore Federation (OSF) is known to many Ontario smallbore shooters and there is some limited information about it [here]. The Ontario Rifle Association (ORA) is centered around Commonwealth style long range Target Rifle shooting using center fire rifles with iron sights. They also have Service Conditions, Blackpowder, Practical and ISU matches. The Ontario Arms Collectors Association (OACA) is primarily concerned with antique firearms and militaria but their shows and shoots welcome modern arms as well. In addition to these organizations you will find some clubs listed that have to do with rifle shooting in the Metro Toronto area. This includes our local smallbore league. |
