FALL PALMA
RAIN-SHOULD-HAVE-HAVE-BEEN-SNOW SHOOT!

Borden Oct 13, 2007

One of the last target shoots took place at Borden on the cold blustery 7 degree day with a dozen or so hard core shooters in attendance. Sheer happenstance would have it that along with the cold….. it began raining at lunch and never let up in the afternoon. With the wind coming in from behind and switching angle at a moments notice, it made things challenging throughout the day.

Tom Maynard was the high TR with a score of 206.5v followed closely by Charlie Williams at 205.8v and Wayne Quick at 201.8v. The F class champion was NORM Barber with an outstanding 225.37v….. missing only 8 v’s all day. John Kajfes followed closely behind NORM with a 224.30v and third went to Don McGinnis 223.29v. Karmran Tabandeh won the F (f) class with a fine 217.19 v followed by Luban Kovachvic 212.16v

Thanks to Des Vamplew for providing expert Range Officer skill and to Tim and the crew for an outstanding job in the pitts…. despite the rain and cold.
