The Ontario Rifle Association's Sierra ISU Championships were shot on the 2nd of October at CFB Borden, Mons Range. The ORA would like to thank our sponsor Sierra Bullet Makers for there initiative in sponsoring shooting across Canada. We would also like to thank the DCRA for there support in coordinating the bullets for this match.
The match was shot under terrible conditions as shooters faced heavy rain and gusting cold winds. The scores would indicate these conditions as this match is usually win with a score in the 590's. Our ISU Champion for this year was Gary Bowman (TR) and Mike Hockings (F Class). The weather unfortunately played a big part in the attendance of this match and hopefully next year we will have better conditions which will give us a greater attendance. Thanks to CFB Borden, Antony Betts and all those brave markers who stuck it out in the butts during the morning relays.
