The Cedar Springs Club Championship and Autumn Match was held 4-5 September. The (in)famous Erie Haze was much in evidence all weekend. Fog delayed the start on both days, and the light was never really clear. There was only a light breeze, coming off the Lake, which no doubt brought in more mist. Visibility was a problem, especially for those with iron sights, but it was pretty murky even through a scope. However, scores were high in the fairly benign conditions, so perhaps a clear aim is not so vital after all. There were very few target rifle shooters, most of those still active at this time of year being more attracted to Winona than the Springs. It is a pity when dates clash like that. The F Class was quite well represented in all three divisions.
All in all, it was a good weekend - just a pity that more people did not show up.
I asked the F(F) Class people what bullets they were using at Cedar Springs this weekend
