At this year’s umbrella event Art Grundy won the TR aggregate with 487/500 at the Cedar Springs Fall Shoot and Club Championship, by one point from Wayne Quick. Here he receives his plaque fro Jeff Lambe [right].

Jim Thompson won the F Class with 572/600 (498v74) [left].

New ORA member, Mike Halmo, came second in the F Class with 553 (494v59), giving Jim "considerable grounds for concern" all weekend. Wayne Quick is at Mike's right. [right]

13-year old Laura Maynard fired her first full ORA match and did very well. We shall see more from her in the future. [left]

Attendance was regrettably quite low. This was perhaps due to this shoot coming on the weekend immediately after the DCRA CFRC/FCWc, to a new target competiton in Raton, New Mexico, and to the continuing, calamitous closure of the 1000 yard range at the Srpings. Those who did not show up missed a glorious late summer weekend, fine and sunny, with a gentle breeze off the lake. This was Cedar Springs at its genial best.
