The Ontario Rifle Association (ORA) exists to provide opportunities for you to shoot with many different types of rifles and offers programs for shooters at all levels from beginner to world class marksmanship. Black Powder Cartridge Rifles, Military Rifles, Lee Enfields, Garands, Swedish Mausers, SKS, AR-15, Ross etc. Sporting Rifles, Winchester, Remington, Savage, Ruger, Browning, Sako, etc. Vintage Rifles, anything made before 1946 Target Rifles, essentially bolt action and iron sights or F-Class, using telescopic sights Precision Rifles, basically any accurate rifle Service Rifles, military style rifles, semi auto or bolt action. Rifle Shooting with the ORA is a safe and enjoyable sport -- why not give it a try! The ORA is a Provincial Rifle Association (PRA) under the Dominion of Canada Rifle Association (DCRA). ORA shooting days are held outdoors on military shooting ranges at distances from 100 to 1000 yards. (For reference, a football field is 100 yards long).
